Extremely hospital hosts. Room had everything needed for our stay and my daughter and I both slept comfortably. Breakfast with all local produce was delicious.

A joyous stay
Superb small hotel run by a couple who really know how to make the stay very good. Nice clean en suite room, with lots of touches like a small torch to see you to the WC in the night. Shuttered windows make the room dark and cuts down on the noise, Breakfast is very good with all the produce bought locally. If you need to stay in the area look no further.

The Old Post Office March 2018
The stay here could not have been better. The owners attention to detail was 110%. How many places provide ear plugs in case one of you snores? This place is on my No1 list of places to stay. To misquote Arnie "we'll be back"

Welcoming and Charming
We had an absolutely delightful experience at the Old Post Office. Pauline and Keith were the most generous hosts. The room was beautiful, the food delicious, the conversation lovely, and all of the thoughtful touches made our stay very special. The town of Lanchester is warm and down to earth as well. A wonderful stay.
