An oasis in Marrakech
Our family of 5 absolutely loved this resort hotel. First, the setting is beautiful. It has pretty landscaping. Second, the location is perfect - about a 12 min walk to the Medina and close to most important sites. Third, the food is absolutely delicious, bountiful and varied. Lots of salad and hot & cold vegetarian dishes for people who don't want meat. And a wide variety of meat dishes. The pools are pretty, well-maintained and there are plenty of chaises at the pool and beyond in the lovely gardens they have on the property. Just be sure to have flip flops b/c the coping around the pool gets very hot. The main pool has a bar with drinks and also serves snacks in the afternoon. Both pools have a cooler with water bottles. One negative - too many plastic water bottles get used. It would be great if the resort had large filtered water dispensers that people could put in their water bottles. In fact, the hotel could provide everyone with a water bottle w the hotel logo! Staff is exceptional. Rachid (a waiter) was particularly wonderful and the person cleaning our room was fantastic. The room was large and the shower was great. The linens were not particularly soft (a bit rough) and I found the bed was a bit hard. Nonetheless, I slept very well. Overall, we absolutely loved this resort hotel and highly recommend it!

Great location, good drinks, okay food
Comfortable hotel with good selection of drinks and cocktails available in the all inclusive. The staff were all nice and friendly. Pools were nice and plenty of pool loungers, but the hotel gets busy so they are almost all full. Location is great, really close to the main square and other sights in the medina. Can walk easily to everything. The food was below average, lacked flavour and seasoning. We were glad we stayed in a Riad for the beginning of our trip as would have been disappointed if we had to eat the food there the whole trip. They didn’t allow for air conditioning to be turned on in the room when we visited in March as it is still ‘winter’, however it was highs of 33 degrees. The room was so hot during the night and our windows faced the noisy back of building so couldn’t leave them open.

Small group birthday celebration
We've just spent 4 nights here and had a perfect holiday. 12 couples celebrating a 60th birthday. The food, drinks, staff, comfort of the rooms, staff was excellent. Sunbeds are dotted around the gardens in quiet areas and in the busier 2 swimming pool areas. The location of the hotel is a 5 minute walk into the busy shopping area of the Medina. So much atmosphere it's a shame if you don't venture out. Loved it. Thank you Marrakech

Fantastic
The hotel was beautiful, a perfect place to come and relax. The staff, however were what made the stay at medina gardens so enjoyable, they all went above and beyond and the customer service was first class!
