Shall we try puffin for tea?
Superb Hotel, friendly and helpful staff. fantastic buffet breakfast. 5 min walk to the main shopping/restaurant street. 15 min walk to harbour area and restaurants. No. 12 bustop just outside hotel for excursion and transfer pick ups departures. Real ale bar a must ( need plenty of cash though or credit card!) Reception and restaurants can get a little manic during busy periods, especially when tripd have been cancelled due to weather etc..

Fosshotel Reykjavik
Can’t fault the hotel at all. Staff were all extremely helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect! (Right next to bus stop 12, so perfect for tour/airport pickups, and a short walk in to the main town).

Modern hotel, great service, great location
New, modern hotel with great service and very comfortable rooms. The location is great, downtown Reykjavík is on your doorstep and 20 minutes to the far side of the centre. There are also a number of geothermal baths nearby. The breakfast is great catering for a global audience - plenty of choice and useful way to start the day given prices in Reykjavik. The hotel also has a great ale bar with a number of local and imported ales on draught.
