Good value. Ideal for who?!
I liked this property and I may well use it again. It gets some things right - price was good, room was spacious, parking fee reasonable for London. But it can´t get away from the fact that its location is poor - 30 minute walk to nearest tube (they operate an excellent free shuttle), nothing of any interest nearby. Some of the staff were excellent, some appeared to be oblivious to guests. IT worked well for me because I had business in the area and if you want to be in this exact location at reasonable cost then book it. Otherwise........I´m not sure who this hotel would appeal to.

Weekend away!
Was a very nice play to stay for an evening! Nothing bad about the stay but the noise control was not very apparent!

A little treat!
On first appearance the hotel does not stand out and I was not that impressed with the general Reception area, which looks great in the pictures on the website. The Reception staff, although not rude, were not the most customer friendly staff I have come across. They had to be reminded about the chocolates and ice bucket (even though they had been pre-ordered) and I had to ask for an extra room key. The hotel is a nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Central London and the underground parking was hugely welcome. I stayed in the Nile Suite, which had the wow factor in terms of the view of the river from the floor to ceiling windows, and the size of the room, but the décor is rather dated, however, the room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The spa area was a disappointing size considering the size of the hotel and the steam room had the brightest lights I have ever seen in a steam room! The bar area is nice and dining room experience was really good. The breakfast was just to my liking! We did not really get a chance to explore more of the hotel. On the whole a pleasant stay but not quite the standard I expect of a 5* establishment.
