this hotel is really beautiful and a little oasis away from the busy city! The large room has an outdoor shower which we loved! It could use a few more people around and a few simple upgrades (towels and bath products) but it was so well-priced and we really enjoyed it and the people working there are very nice. Short taxi ride to beach and city.

It was a surprise to find that this hotel is not where it is shown on the map near the city center, but 3.5km out of town. It's actually a very peaceful, rural location but as we expected cold, wet and windy weather (so booked somewhere we thought was central) it wasn't very convenient, so beware. Initially shown to a room that was full of mould and at the back of the property despite being the only guests on arrival, but this was rectified without too much fuss. Wifi in the room didn't work for the entire stay which meant sitting in the open air restaurant in terrible weather to access internet. Staff were nice and friendly but not very attentive and barely visible. This is a beautiful property but it appears the garden is the only thing that is maintained, the rest is getting pretty worn and tired. Breakfast was great. Not at all what we expected but for the price, you get what pay for (just).

In a busy schedule, the Villa Hoa Su was an oasis of peace. So relaxing, and although the rooms didn't have tea making facilities, what was much better was that we had free reign in the nearby kitchen. Breakfasts limited but lovely, and Minh was so helpful. Lovely, fully intend to re visit.

A little bit of paradise for our 4 nights. The young lady who took care of the Homestay, Ian(?) was wonderful. The breakfasts, included in the home price was delicious and served made to order every morning at our requested time. She even provided us a supper served to us in the garden 1 evening. We upgraded to a larger suite for $10 a night. With the outdoor shower and large marble bath, it was totally worth it. A "must stay" when visiting Hoi An!!

Beautiful house, stunning lotus pool full of koi and cat fishes, fantastic outdoor bath and lovely staff, genuinely gentle, caring and helpful, reasonable price for laundry and transportation service, however the place is slightly rundown, bed is uncomfortable, design is kid unfriendly, many unnecessary steps and corners that are dangerous for babies and waste spaces, swimming pool is a bit slimy not properly cleaned, food is not good. Location wise, too far from town, though I did once believe everywhere in Hoi An is close by and 5 minutes cab trip away is nothing, but recently getting a cab in Hoi An centre is a real challenge especially when it rains. I would either stay right in middle of the ancient town, or on the beach.

It was definitelt not what I expected. The villa was not being maintained very well, I had hard time in opening the door and switches came off when I turned it on. The chairs outside were really old and for a star resort, I would have definitely gone for something better. The stay was ok but was not worth the money. I also didn't like their morning breakfast ( I had the banana pancake). The outside setting was very relaxing though. Another major disadvantage was the distance. It is quite a bit of a bicycle ride from everything else. It says 0.321 km but is more than 3 mms away.

We loved our stay there and will definitely return. It was peaceful and close enough to the town for us to walk or cycle. Staff were very caring and friendly

If you want to feel relaxed this is the place to go! From the moment you step into this place you feel relaxed! The breakfast is great! The service lovely, pool clean and enjoyable! There was a mix up with departure dates and then we where turfed out at 7pm at night to the sister hotel that place was not very good at all! Wasn't dealt with very well at all wish we could have stayed at frangipani it was amazing

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the bike and car horns, this relaxing, quaint hide away will make you forget you are in a busy town. The staff are super friendly and kind. The property absolutely beautiful and zen like with each of the few rooms having their own outdoor private stone bath and shower. Only thing is you have to make your way into town for meals aside from a simple but delicious breakfast, and because of the privacy of this place being a little remote. By far one of our favorite places we have ever stayed though!
