Hotel Cusco Plaza de Armas
Very Good8.0
Well located hotel but some noise issues
The hotel is very well located, right on the corner of the Plaza de Armas (as expected). Breakfast is served overlooking the Plaza. There is a nice rooftop area which has great views over the city. The bed was enormous and very comfortable, and a heater was provided as it can get cold at night. The shower was powerful and hot. There were only 2 problems: 1: it took a very long time (20 hours) to connect our devices to the internet, despite repeated help from hotel staff. It is very hit or miss if your device will connect or not. 2: Although we had no noise from other guests or people in the Plaza, there was a traffic policewoman stationed outside our window 0700-2100 who blew her whistle continuously. After 2 days of this I really wanted to secrete this whistle somewhere inconvenient!!! However as long as earplugs are used, a good stay.

Amazing shower
Excellent stay. Very helpful front desk. Great location and view. Did I mention the shower?

The hotel itself is clean and tidy, however, as it is next to the plaza/roads, it’s a bit noisy.

Hotel Cusco Plaza de Armas
worst experience in Peru
the worst experience in Peru, room smelled, and the wifi terrible. tried to talk with front desk and let them konw that for what we are paying this is unacceptable. They were not willing to fix or compensate for any of the problems we experienced. I am sure there are other great locations in the same area do you self a favor and save yourself the frustration go somewhere else.
