Nice break but aspects let it down for 4star
Check in was very good and allowing us in to our room a bit early. Room comfortable, needs carpet cleaned and lots of scuffs. Staffing etiquette was the main problem. Overhearing disagreements in the outside bar by staff. Breakfast staff not being over accommodating, or explaining the breakfast well. Breakfast hot meal a bit limited in quantity.

Lovely hotel stay ruined by dog barking!
Dog barking intermittently until midnight and then started again at 7.30am the next morning. I accept it’s a dog friendly hotel but it’s totally unacceptable for other guests to have to put up with this racket. I had a very poor nights sleep. Lovely hotel. Excellent breakfast. Bedroom sumptuous. No fridge.

A delightful stay
Wow. What a wonderful place to stay. We felt looked after from the moment we entered to the moment we left. The hotel staff were all friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. On check in we were delighted to be offered a free upgrade and impressed that they already knew about the Hotels.com Silver Member perk (often times on check in we have to remind hotels!) Breakfast was delicious and the icing on the cake was our Bentley Tour with Zane - we loved being driven around in such a handsome car and Zane was excellent company and very knowledgeable.
