Good base for short stay
Good location for paddington station and oxford street. Basic hotel but comfortable, a bit of traffic noise and could be warm in summer as no aircon. Good fast service

Darling stay at the Darlington
Excellent staff, check in and out very easy, room was large and lovely situated lower ground but still very light and airy . The hotel location enabled us to easily travel around the sights of London. So close to Kensington park. Good breakfast sets you up for the day (vege option limited). Only negative was that late pm we noticed water running down a snide of wall, while reception team response was prompt there was no out of hours maintenance support. That said we were given extra towels to soak up water, extension leads so we could charge up our electric items in a different part of the room. Myself and my friends would stay again.

Great hotel
A lovely little hotel close to Paddington Station and Hyde Park. We had a twin room which was surprisingly large by London standards. The bathroom was compact but clean with a good working shower. The staff were all polite and helpful. If I had to suggest any improvements it would be the cooked breakfast, other than that, no complaints at all and I will certainly stay here again.
