Overall excellent!
Everything was perfect to start with, we arrived extremely early and asked if we could park the car, use the baby changing facilities and then check in later on, the friendly receptionist had no problem with assisting us. The receptionist could then see that our baby had started becoming unsettled so found us a room to check into early. The room was standard, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Then we came to check out and the receptionist (different from the day before) had an attitude problem, wasn’t very friendly, wanted to charge us £10 to leave our car for 2 hours until 11am (standard check out time) because the previous receptionist had kindly let us park early. It’s a shame that this one member of staff ruined our experience because everything else was pretty much perfect!

Excellent
One of the best nights sleep in a hotel anywhere. Very comfortable and was exactly what I was looking for; a base for one night.

Very nice hotel with good size rooms
A pleasant, business style hotel with good sized rooms, a huge bed which was part firm part soft (so take your choice, not that I could tell the difference) and friendly staff. The bathroom was clean with a large sized shower cubicle. Good access to the O2 (since we were going to a concert there) via the DLR (Royal Albert Station 2 minutes walk away) and Emirates Air Line cable car or the Jubilee line. It did take us a bit longer than we realised to get into London for a bit of sight seeing before though. Breakfast was the standard self service buffet. Good in that you can easily take exactly what and as much as you want with a good choice, but the cooked food is never quite as nice after being kept warm for a while. However, I liked it and it set me up for the day.
