Convenient but tiny
We booked the room last minute as we decided to come back to Tokyo from Nikko one night earlier than planned. Overall the stay went well and the price was fair but the room was the smallest I’ve ever been at, with barely any space for our luggage - let alone properly trying to open it. For convenience it was ok, but it wouldn’t be the type of room I’d book for longer stays

Tiny room, disappointing service, great location
We asked to check in early but were told we'd have to pay an hourly rate for our room, which in the end turned out to be tiny with no room to walk around the bed. Our bags, which we left in order to check in later, were still at reception when we returned despite us filling in all the paperwork. The room was stuffy and what carpet there was in the room was not well cleaned. All in all, a disappointing stay in what was otherwise a convenient location.

Clean hotel.
Good hotel for a business trip. I was travelling alone although not for business. I chose the hotel because it was fairly close to the Nippon Budokan where I was seeing a concert and the Imperial Gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke reasonable English. Better than my Japanese! The room was on the small size but not too bad. Only one English speaking channel on the TV. There's only so much news you can watch. The Wifi in the room was ok. My biggest mistake was after my first breakfast. After eating a rice pyramid and some broth I returned to my room. Within minutes I was pretty poorly. I thought as it was my first ever taste of Japanese food it was just a reaction from my body. Since returning home everyone has said rice can be deadly! I didn't mention this to the hotel staff so that's my fault but it did affect my stay in Tokyo.
