Amazing
This Hotel was simply amazing, we only booked in for 1 night, but wish I's booked longer! Stunning in every way and close to all that Charleston has to offer.

Charleston SC one more time
Second time at this Inn and it was just as good as the first. The only recommendation we would have is to get a non street side non first floor room since you can't really open shutters to let light in and maintain your privacy. Also make sure to take advantage of the roof top terrace .

Lovely Charleston Hotel
Great hotel in a prime location with easy parking. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Nice wine and cheese reception. My only complaint is that the “pub” is really not a pub. I talked this up to my husband and he was expecting a real pub with draft beer. I should have checked this out more thoroughly. Otherwise beautiful place!

Good, not great enough to return
I give this hotel 3 stars. Very nice location and the room was fine - the interesting architecture of the building made it noisier than I'd have liked, and our family with us had the misfortune of being next to a bridal party who were apparently very loud. Housekeeping skipped our room one day for some reason. As for the evening wine, it was undrinkable (in my informed opinion) so I wish they'd spent a bit more for a reasonable quality. At $260 or so (the first two nights' rate) it seemed fair, at $369 (the other nights) I felt I'd overpaid. Staff was overall B- (calls weren't returned, dinner reservations weren't made, etc. I doubt I'll return to this hotel.
