Good value Hostal near to Gran Via
Well located budget Hostal in Madrid centre. Helpful owners. Might be a little cramped for some. Good value.

Great value for money
Excellent value for money. Has all the basics and does them well - comfortable bed, good shower, how water, free wifi and very clean including bedding (which is where I normally find cleanliness a bit of a let down in other budget hotels with the odd stain, tired pillows etc but none of that at C H Chelo). It is nothing fancy but, as a lone female traveller I felt safe, comfortable and had everything I needed. The only thing to mention to other potential customers is that the bathroom is small and can be a bit tight at times. There are some lovely cafes in the area to get breakfast and it's very easy to walk to all the sights in Madrid. I would happily stay there again.
