    Alright as a base

    We booked this hotel as a base as we visited Newcastle for a festival. It was comfortable enough. The service depends on the staff member, most were fine. The hotel itself was close to the town centre/leazes park/football ground so a good place to stay for easy access.

    Terrible service

    When we arrived , and after I had paid there was no available room for us to stay , as it was very late at night we just needed to get ourselves to sleep for work the next day. We went into the next day due to waiting around for us to be allocated some where else for the night , I found this experience disgusting and don’t understand how a company can take payment and there be no room available.

    Disappointing not that comfortable

    This was a disappointing hotel. The room was very small and compact. The desk us low and couldnt put knees under. The wifi is very poor. 2 bars at best mostly 1 bar. Rare could connect. There was only 2 coffee sachets on arrival. Although i could ask for more at reception. Not worth the price paid

    Like to stay here - convenient, bus route, free parking, quiet, what I like for Breakfast. Room should have been a lot cleaner - with or without Covid considerations. Carpet needed stronger Vacuum Cleaner. Parts of surfaces not dusted (or 'sanitised') especially round Drinks Tray. Cup dirty. Hair in shower. System to order daily update (e.g. coffee, milk) worked well. Friendly Staff. Will come again - supervision of cleaning just needs to be tighter.

    Good cheap stay for a weekend away.

    Hotel in a good location. About a 10-15 min walk into town or a £5 taxi (or £10 if the driver hears your accent is from out of town). Facilities were basic but expected for the price. Had all you need tho. Bed, bathroom, hot shower, wardrobe space. Facilities for tea/coffee if you need them, tele in the room. Staff were very helpful, I left something behind and after contacting them they found it in the room and posted it back to me.

    Not a particular pleasant stay

    Unfortunately bad behavior guests did not respect silence and were drinking /chatting loudly inside the room. They were changing rooms (social distancing???) and constantly knocking on my door per mistake. Restrictions on inside dining have been already lifted so I quite dont understand why breakfast was still grab and go. I dontrecommend, sorry.

    Do not stay here

    The worst hospitality experience ever. The porter ( gestapo ) would not let me stay , even though i have it countless proof that i was staying on a business trip. Had to leave the hotel and managed to find alternative accommodation 2 hours away from home. I will be taking legal action against the hotel and the porter Watch this space
