I recommend passing on this motel
I stayed here because I wanted to support local rather than a chain, and it had high reviews. I am shocked that others have left such great reviews, but happy they had a different experience than me. I asked for a quiet room away from traffic, and received a room right in the front near the street even though the back rooms were vacant (confirmed the following day at checkout). There was a gap under our door, and our deadbolt would not work. The people in the room next to us were smoking outside and the smell kept coming in under the door, plus we could not open the windows due to this smell. Tons of traffic noise. The walls were paper thin, and we heard every word from the people next-door, including when they used the bathroom. There was hair or dirt in three of the towels. It cost money to use the pool table and we did not have cash. The bed was amazing and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was also awesome, especially if you like carbs like me. The Wi-Fi did not work while we were there even though they handed me a piece of paper with the password that said they had speedy Wi-Fi. I was looking forward to a fully themed/decorated room, but there were only three small prints on the wall. I never leave poor reviews, but I was very disappointed and again surprised that people have rated this high, so I felt obligated to disclose my experience.
