Great for a few nights, but not for 7 nights
First off, this is a great place and location is pretty central. We didnt have a car, so can't comment on parking. Taxi/Uber from airport only takes half an hour. Check in was fine, as it's fairly laid back and casual. Was done in minutes thankfully, as we made it in time to grab a drink in the free daily happy hour 5-6pm. This is a big plus & selection is great. Just get down before 5pm if you want a table/seat mind & tip your server! Down sides... Well, it's right next to the train track & they only stop for around 4 hours a night. Coming from suburban/countryside, the drunks on a Saturday night and that, made for restless sleeping. The bed mattress... not so comfortable by night 2. We were in a Grand Chamber (on honeymoon) & we do like to chill in the evening watching TV, after a long day out sightseeing & dinner. The sofa is NOT comfortable in the slightest & the amenities given the size could have been better. Worse part was the toilet paper... prison issue I suspect. It was genuinely that bad, we went to the supermarket and bought our own to use. Whilst it screamed opulence, it really wasn't luxurious at all. That's why I think this place is great for a couple of nights, but not for extended periods. Staff were pleasant & Miss Ricky's breakfast (Avocado Toast OMG), was superb & honest value for money to the quality you received. All things considered good and not so good, it wouldnt be a hotel I'd rush back to stay at, even with happy hour..
