Good service, but a bit tired.
Great service, but the hotel seemed tired, not sure if it had just re-opened but there was a musty smell in the hallways and lounge. Room was as described but needed updates, breakfast was disappointing.

Couldn’t wait to leave!
The only good thing about it was it’s convenience to the M4. We had booked an executive room, not certain what was executive about it unless it was the views of the rubbish bins! The shower dried up completely just as my wife had put shampoo into her hair: the response was you can wash it out in the adjacent room and two complimentary drink vouchers that the bar man tried to make us pay for the tonic to go with the gin! Couldn’t wait to leave!

Convenient but not very comfortable!
Conveniently located, easy to find with ample free car parking. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but looked a bit tired and in need of modernisation. Bed was awful, huge dip in the middle so not at all comfortable! Shower was great, plenty of hot water. Our room was facing the car park but excellent double glazing meant we heard practically no road noise!

Power cut
Unfortunately the hotel was hit by an external power cut shortly after arrival. All the team were great, credit to the company. This was something outside of the hotels control, but all the team were very warm and welcoming in what must have been very difficult circumstances for them.
