Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Great Place!
I stayed for a snowboarding trip with a few friends and got the cabin room. It was perfect and cozy. Will definitely stay here again when planning a trip again to June Lake!

With regards to traveling during COVID-19 restrictions, this little place did an awesome job providing accommodations. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was greatly disappointed but not surprised that the spa was closed, not their fault.

Clean & large room, convenient location.
Simple check-in & check-out (contactless, no reception). The room was large and clean but dated, and the location is great - will be better when more local amenities are open (Double Eagle across the street for restaurant and bar). Would have liked to stay longer, but the internet service was not strong - so working or streaming needs were not met. It's on the main road, but not too loud, and the main rooms have a great view of the mountains and falls out your front window (watching the mountain rainstorms each day was relaxing).

The motel has been able to easily abide to social distancing during this Covid time which was nice. The management team was very polite. When my husband and I accidentally locked ourselves out there were quick;y able to provide us with another key. The motel itself is pretty run down. All old furnishing. There was damage to every the blinds/window covering, 1 sofa, table wobbly, tv stand broken and others. Also just not built great. The bed room door couldn't be closed easily, had to tug to get past the heater hanging on he wall. Same with the fridge, the door it really snug against the wall so we had to pull and close with a little more effort. Appreciate having a stove, fridge and sink and overall the place was a great size.

A tired welcome
It was strange to never see an employee in the lobby and have our only communication be an envelope taped to the door. Maybe a phone call from the front desk to welcome me? The suite was fine, showing signs of age but very clean. The location and views from the balcony were great.

f you want to be left alone - This is the place.
The room was nice but for the cost per day, some fresh towels, the bed being turned down or replacing the coffee at least once in the four night stay would have been nicer. There was no one in the office when we arrived, only our key was taped to the door. That was about all the human contact we received in the time we were there. I understand this is a Covid-19 reality but some warm welcoming could have been made by phone or through a window to ask if we needed anything after a few days.

First off I have to say that it was overall ok. We booked a few days before heading out and have to admit it served its purpose. Over all the place was clean but it is definitely in need of a deep cleaning. It was hot one night so thankfully there was a portable fan. The place is quite old so it’s understandable. The fan was quite dirty on one side. The place is old as expected but the carpet has got to go. Considering we paid $250 a night I think they could afford to replace the green old carpet with the giant stains on it. It’s says daily housekeeping but I’m not too sure if that was upon request. We were never home during the day. We emptied the trash out each night and did ask for toilet paper like the 3rd day and the cleaning staff was very friendly. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need but also could use some major cleaning as the walls have grease and the range hood is filthy. The garbage disposal leaked and wet the floor each time we washed dishes so we let them know. The fridge is clean but the shelves on the door were broken and taped. The blinds in the rooms could also be replaced but I mean they worked. We attempted to dry towels one day but the dryer sounds like a plane was going to land so we turned it off instead. Again, we only cooked breakfast and slept here. Do not expect anything fancy. Also, the rooms are not as pictured for the 2 bedroom cabin that is. I asked about that after checking in and don’t believe I got an answer about that.
