Rooms are clean and check in is very easy. Parking in area close to hotel with restaurants in building.
It is an old building with smoke smelling carpets. Cramped rooms, no space to even eat, shower area is so small, and the hotel expects you to take care of the water escaping the shower curtain. Not happy. No parking, you have to move the vehicle at 10.00 in the morning to avoid getting a ticket.
Hotel was very accommodating, the restaurant was very nice, the staff was very friendly. I’ve stayed here many times and never had a complaint.
The noises of the old building were hard to ignore in the night. Old plumbing and heating I guess. Understandable in such an old property.
For the first time in Newfoundland, I am sold! Check in was easy, room was clean, comfortable and quaint. This will be my stop every time !
I would of enjoyed it more if the cable tv was working in my room, unfortunately the worker couldn't come in my room due to covid 19 besides that I found it a good place to stay and great prices.
Small room but very clean....great place if u just wanna spend the nite downtown
Excellent place to stay at great prices. Always enjoy my stay there when I travel through St. John’s.
