Generator Paris
Good and reasonable
I met my new friends at the room and shared our travel information. We saw the beautiful night sight at the roof. Metro and bus station are very close, just within 3 mins by walking. And the small supermarket is very good for buying fresh fruits and small snacks. But, please take care when you are coming back the hostel. The surrounding area is a residential area so too late time is not good for your security.

The hostel was ok to stay at. They have clearly spent a lot of money on the communal areas and reception area. Unfortunately the rooms aren’t up to the same standard. The shower in my room needed a serious clean. It was damp and smelled like a wet dog as there wasn’t a window in it. The tiles were also dirty and had mould on them. My room was pretty big but most of the space was taken up with loads of chairs and bean bags that you had to climb over to get to your bed. The only storage space you get is a trunk underneath the beds which can be annoying when you need to roll it out to get your stuff. Some people had suitcases which wouldn’t fit in the trunk so they had to be left around the room which took up more space. The toilet doesn’t have a sink in it. The sink is located in the main room which is annoying if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and you end up disturbing others by using the sink in the room. Also, there is no soap dispenser so you’ll need to bring your own. The staff weren’t very helpful. It seemed like you were bothering them if you asked them any questions. I only encountered one staff member who seemed happy to help. Local area is fine. It is right beside a metro station which is handy and there are a few restaurants and supermarkets near by also.

Clean and modern hostel
Clean and modern hostel with a great location near the metro. There is not much in the area, a couple restaurants and supermarkets, but the transport works well and if you're feeling energetic you can even walk to the center.

I stayed at the Generator with my 3 children and we had a great stay. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying at The Generator.
