Azzurro Suites

We went here on our honeymoon. When booking we were looking to stay in fira cliffside. This says it's in fira city but it is so far out we spend hundreds of euros on taxis. There is only a run down looking Mexican place down the road for food which we never went to. The suites themselves were nice but not as fancy as they look in pictures and the pool is not as big. They have a pool bar which didn't open the whole week when we asked if it would open they said later. We really enjoyed our trip to santorini but were slightly let down by how it was advertised and being there itself. The rooms where not what we expected but still nice.beds were very comfy and staff were lovely.

Good place with great view but the manager at reception was the rudest and the guy at the restaurant not the easiest.

As a whole, my wife and I had a lovely stay at the Azzurro Suites until the last night when my wife was served uncooked chicken - dangerous enough to anyone, but exceedingly worse to pregnant woman, as my wife is. We informed the hotel but the owner / manager was not available - we have tried to speak to him in person and sent 3 emails yet have received no response. Clearly he does not care about us nor his customers as a whole. All the other staff were very welcoming and nice but there was no-one with authority who could help in the food poisoning incident at the time, or since. For this reason I could never recommend the hotel to anyone.

We booked this as a treat night after almost 10 years of staying on the east of the island and Azzurro Suites met all our expectations. Comfortable room and sun beds, great bathroom and shower and an amazing place to watch the sunset. We knew it was not close to Fira town but that was not a problem. Food in the restaurant was a good price and very well cooked so we dined there in the most romantic of settings wayching the setting sun. Buffet breakfast the next day was plentiful and well cooked. Staff were efficient

Hotel was lovely. Extremely clean, modern and hotel staff were so so friendly. I would say there was a little bit of noise through the day and in the morning due to the staff radios. But overall I would highly recommend!
