great central location
The front door was locked, and there was no sign telling where to go for check-in. I found out from people on the street that I had to go over to Bentleys to check in. After that I had a very good experience, as the fireplace is lovely, the room HUGE, and the jetted tub a luxury. I would go back.

My room at the Annex Inn had more than I expected, but not all of what I did expect. What I didn't anticipate: An enormous working gas fireplace fronted by comfortable armchairs in which to sit and enjoy it; A variety of fairly healthy free snacks, including popcorn and nut bars; A little kitchen area at the entrance complete with sink; A DVD player attached to the TV console; A Very big and non-standard room. What I expected but did not get: The choice between using the shower or the large tub in the bathroom. The shower either did not work properly or I couldn't figure out how to make water come from the shoulder spout so only got a stream from the outlet at my feet. The whirlpool tub was fine, but I really wanted a shower!

Room was comfortable and clean. Fridge was super cold. Christine was very helpful with anything we needed. Walkable through downtown, restaurants and the river!

Property was close to everything Stratford has to offer. Price was acceptable, however, the Housekeeping was not up to par. Our room was never made up, we had no mugs, glasses in our room. We had to go downstairs to the bar to get glasses, they gave us 2 wine glasses. The second day someone came to our room with ice and glasses. Our towels were never picked up, garbage was never picked up and the dust in the room had been there for a while. The wee couch could do with a good steam cleaning, stains all over it, yuck!! Saturday night there were people next door fighting screaming until 8:30am and we almost called the police. However, we made the most of our time there, 3 night, regardless we would let others know about the Annex and we would even rebook and hope that the above would be corrected.
