Everything was perfect.

Nice central boutique guesthouse
Lovely owner greeted me and location is good and central but it might be noisy in the centre of town so you have to weigh up whether being close to town is more important than a quiet location. Personally I loved it - fascinating building with great history and lovely boutique style . The breakfast was nice (continental) but the service was not super friendly, it was a little cold. The lady that checked me out was lovely though.

Ideal location for a short stay in Galway
Perfect for a short weekend break. Small hotel, small rooms but absolutely spotless, in an excellent location and with friendly and helpful staff.

Good location if room not facing the street.
Great B&B in a great location. We were tickled to have a room with doube beds. The only thing is that this room faced the street and the hotel is right across the street from a bar call The Front Door that is a very popular hangout. We went there for our last drink and were watching the tv's there. They turned them off during the middle of the prime time sporting event for the DJ. We left and I couldn't fall asleep til the bar closed and the street cleared. The next morning I couldn't remember anything about checkout or when breakfast ended and its not written down anywhere. I reccomend for those that can sleep through anything or like to stay out late.

A room with history
7 Cross is in the heart of the medieval section of Galway. It’s an historic building with an interesting history. Hazel was a fantastic host and we enjoyed our conversations with her! Orla was also lovely and helped us to find an acupuncturist nearby. Overall a lovely stay.

Unique, yet LOUD
The history behind the building is unique. Aside from that, the rooms are quite small, there is only paid parking a few blocks from the hotel, and the noise from the pubs downstairs is awful. We stayed here on a Thursday night. About 11pm, the bars started playing live music which literally vibrated and shook our beds. The noise did not die down until 4 am. Then breakfast was at 8. If your main goal is to stay up all night, this place is for you. If you want to get more than 4 hours of sleep - find something a little further out. I don’t think this stay was worth the money we paid, unfortunately.

Noisy hotel rooms beside live music pub.
This hotel is very central however it is right beside a pub which has “live music” every night from 11 pm to 3 am. I was not able to sleep until after 3:30 am and was exhausted during my two day visit. I wished I booked a hotel out of this area so I could get a proper rest.

Tiny but full of charm!
Though the rooms were tiny, they were full of charm. The hotel was located in the middle of all the goings on. The owner was kind and helpful and full of good tips about restaurants in the area.

Lovely intimate boutique hotel
Lovely quaint boutique hotel. Hazel the manager was so friendly and helpful. Hotel is located in the heart of Galway. Sure its a bit noisy in the morning with the glass bins being collected but what can the hotel do? We had no problem with crowd noises. Rooms a small but it is a 500 year old building after all. But you have everything you need, very cost and intimate. Air conditioning heats up the room really quickly. Didn't avail of the continental breakfast as we had a sleep in instead 😊. But it looked very nice. Great value also for its central location. There is no bar but there is no shortage of them in the vicinity. I would definitely recommend no 7 and would love to stay again. It is what it is so once you have realistic expectations you should not be disappointed.
