Chatham is beautiful and the Wayside Inn is so charming. We had a garden king room very spacious, clean, comfy king bed, huge accessible bathroom, fridge, safe, ironing facilities beautiful little garden with table and chairs. Continental breakfast cereal, fruit, bagels muffins, boiled and scrambled eggs. Bicycles free to hire, heated pool, gym. Did not want to leave.

The room was clean but bathroom very small and dated. The coffee maker didn’t work, the elevator was broken, pillows and towels were cheap. We loved the patio. The restaurant was good but not great. The charging station is deceiving… it’s posted at $3/hr but we were charged $73 because it’s a public charger in a private lot. We were told to park there by staff for the night and that cost us! The location is cental for shopping but way too busy. We would not recommend.

The hotel was very nice and homey. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. We were a little disappointed with the continental breakfast. The first time we tried it they were out of coffee and there was no attendant to be found. Decaf coffee was not offered. There were no juice glasses available. On the plus side, the muffins were very fresh and delicious. Went back for breakfast a few days later. Still no decaf so we left and went somewhere else. Other than our poor breakfast experience, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
