The room was much better than we expected. Very clean and ideal amenities for a two night stay. The gym was well stocked and the swimming pool was ideal. There was a good choice for breakfast with a fresh omelette station. The main tourist area was about a thirty minute walk which wasn't a problem for us although some may find it a drag. Parking was literally on the doorstep, $18 a night to self park or $34 a night valet parking. Overall, we would stay here again if we came back to Charleston.
Very pleasant stay , knowledgable and friendly concierge , good breakfast. Room was clean and spacious . Location on King St. is very convenient for getting to explore Charleston and is only a 6-10 minute walk to Charleston Visitor Centre for any additional information / suggestions. There is parking right next to the hotel at the city parking garage , which is capped at $18 a day (without in/out privileges). Valet parking is available with in/out privileges, however it is (considerably ?) more expensive, hence depending on what one plans to visit / see during the stay in Charleston , it may be worth asking if it is possible to split parking between public garage and Valet. Since I only stayed a couple of nights and my activities focused around Historic Charleston itself, I opted for public parking garage. All in all , if I visit Charleston again in the future , I would not hesitate to consider this hotel as an option.
Second time at this hotel. Staff is not 100% on parking fees they tell you is 18 day, but at midnight the clock restarts due to it being a city run lot. Rund about 35 a night. Best option is valet at 36 a day with in and out privileges. The room is very dated with stains on walls and shower takes forever to drain. They have a stsrbucks on site but only can make basic drinks and you usually wait at least 15 mins becsuse the front desk personnel also make drinks.
My overall experience was positive. It was clean and comfortable and the room was super nice. It’s alittle annoying to not have service to your room and you have to call for towels and things but that’s every hotel right now. I did have to call 3 times for wash clothes before they finally brought some. All good the biggest issue was honestly that Saturday and Sunday the bar right across the street plays VERY VERY loud music! Not the hotels fault and nothing they can do about it but it kept me up and was very inconvenient. You could avoid this I’m sure by being on the other side of the hotel.
Great hotel - loved the full kitchen. Couldn't get the ac quite right but maintenance was very helpful. Breakfast was light but staff was very helpful
The walls are super thin and heard everything(😳) $32 just to park overnight. Not impressed. Will not be back
Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Room needed updating, but staying at Hyatt is always consistent which is why we choose it.
Beautiful and comfortable hotel.
Great location and value. Would stay here again
Hotel was very nice and appeared very clean in the common areas as well as the rooms. Very nice king suite. Enjoyed the extra space, kitchen and living areas. Parking prices are a little deceptive from the website but still a reasonable and convenient. Only negative part of the experience was the included breakfast. I understand that complimentary a breakfast is different since COVID but options were pretty bad. It was a little disappointing since our stay included two breakfasts but overall would definitely stay at hotel again!
