Good location
The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. There was a slight aroma of cigarettes in the corridors but the rooms were smoke free. It is situated at one end of the town but is close to food and shops. However my car was damaged by a couple having a row in the car park which took the edge off the holiday. They were not guests so in reality the hotel was not responsible. I would still stay there again but would park nearer the entrance.

Front desk girl needs attitude adjustment
Stay was good as expected. Check in was odd. The front desk attendant asked me if I was sure I wanted to check in twice. That was after I stated my name and I intended to check in. She was rude and odd. My boyfriend was joking and rang the bell. She yelled at him for ringing the bell. My boyfriend apologized. Someone needs to havr a conversation with her about being polite. It was very annoying that she questioned whether I was sure that I wanted to check in.

Check in went good! Went to the room and it was dirty, messed up blankets and some trash. Went down and told the lady at the front desk and she took care of it and got me another room. Only downside was no elevator.

Nice hotel needs a couple improvements.
This hotel was very nice. It was clean and comfortable with the usual continental breakfast. The only drawback was when I discovered my room was on the second floor and there was no elevator! I had to lug my belongings up a flight of stairs and way down the hall. The desk clerk was very gracious to help! For an able bodied person like myself it was a modest task but for someone who has difficulty doing such task it would be a big hardship. The front doors are not automatic which also makes getting your luggage in challenging.

My experience with this hotel was terrible and horrible. I came to fostoria for a family event occurring during the weekend. I left and got on the party bus only to get a called that i was getting put out of the hotel because of something that occur with my sister mind you we had separate rooms and I wasn't there. This is the only hotel in Fostoria and mind you I live hours away
