The building is full of character and history and fun to explore. Delicious breakfast, spacious and comfortable room. Super friendly hosts, Mark, Sonia and Bazil the cat. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Already dreaming of my next visit
We loved our stay at the Abbey of the Roses. It's such a beautiful building to have the opportunity to explore at your leisure, like visiting a museum out of opening hours. Also lovely gardens for a walk after breakfast, which was included and very tasty. Our room (#7) was huge, yet very cosy at the same time. We had a comfortable bed and the great water pressure in the shower (big ticks in our books). The glass of bubbles on arrival and a sip of port with game of chess by the fireplace before bed are the luxurious little extras that will have us coming back for a visit as soon as we can.
