great for a one night city break
really good location, and we had picked this because of the gym and pool which were both great. The room was lovely and big, but pretty gloomy - it needed a ceiling light rather than just a couple of lamps. We overlooked the canal not the road side so was very quiet which was ideal. We went to breakfast about 20 mins before the end of service and food was a bit thin on the ground, but they did still serve hot food to order like poached eggs. All in all great for a one night stay for a quick City break, but for us, if it wasnt for the gym and pool we'd have booked a premier inn based on the actual accommodation.
