Too noisy for my family
Overall I would have to say I can’t see my family staying here again. We are a family of four with 2 little kids, which this hotel doesn’t really cater that well for us. The downstairs pool is quite cold, as it doesn’t get much sun... The upstairs pool is quite small, and crowded - not really ideal for little kids. The hotel is quite noisy, with big long hallways and clunky doors. We could hear doors being closed at all hours. On several occasions staff were making noise in the hallways late at night - sounded like cleaning up dishes / bottles. There was also an incident with a large group of guests, who were making loud noises, and we’re clearly under the influence of alcohol. This was at 2am, and I understood that there was sort of a domestic fight and police were called to attend. Not sure what happened, but they remained at the hotel for at least another 4/5 nights after this. We also noticed these same guests constantly hanging out in the hotel lobby (at the front) mostly late at night - drinking and being quite loud also. The breakfast was ok, but could be better by investing in some better coffee and machines (and not just one - to meet with the demand). Better fruit selection and more pastries would compliment the rest of the buffet. The noise / ambience of the hotel is the one thing above all else that we don’t like, and is why we most likely won’t return.

Clean & good location, but noisy & lacks services
Pros: - The location is great for restaurants, spas, & a 6-9 minute walk to the beach. - The hotel itself is new & has comfortable rooms and two decent swimming pools. Both of the pools are not luxury (the bottom floor pool is quite dark, & the water on the top pool is murky and faces the noisy street), but are good for short dips. - As my partner is a gold member, the staff were accommodating & we got upgraded to an executive suite. Cons: - With the good location comes noise from the street. We couldn't stay in the suite for more than a night due to the loud noise coming from the street, so the staff were happy to change us back to a standard room facing the pool. - The staff are very friendly, but slow/inefficient during the check in & especially the check out process. My partner is gold status and we have stayed with the Accor group many times, but when we were checking out, the front desk asked us to wait an unreasonable amount of time to check if the pool towels were actually in the room. It is not worth losing two loyal guests for fear of us taking two cheap pool towels. We were in a hurry to go somewhere else and yet the front desk insisted on checking on the towels. - I asked for an umbrella during a thunderstorm, but the front desk told me they no longer provide umbrellas due to previous guests not returning them. It is unacceptable for an international name hotel to not provide umbrellas to guests when the request it during a large and storm. I was drenched.

Nice hotel central to everything.
loved the hotel just very disappointed in first pool room they gave us.First of all the room smelled so bad of damp but it is Bali so let it go then when I got into bed the sheets were very damp and the bed smelt really bad of urine and pillows smelt of dirty feet, when I pulled the mattress cover off which was clean, the mattress had yellow stains on 80% of it and one large stain in the centre which was very dark and had mould in it.Asked to see the manager but they just sent two boys to change the bed, anyway told them the mattress needed to be thrown out as it was way to bad,By the time we we settled in another room it was 4am so next day we were so tired it was a wasted day of our holiday. The most disappointing thing was the Manager never got in contact with us in the 10 nights we stayed, only the girls and staff said how sorry they were,we did get fobbed off a couple of times with the concierge but not good enough we just wanted to see manager and show picture of the mattress but obviously he wasn't interested in the comfort of his guests. I work in management and I did expect the manager to address us, so to me this hotel is very bad management. We were told by one concierge as compensation we could get one laundry service for free which we didn't except, all we wanted was to get an apology off the manager and you would have thought within the ten day no matter how busy he was he could have taken ten minutes of his time. Sorry unable to put pictures up at this time.

Overall the staff were very friendly. The cleanliness of the room was questionable. It was very much a surface clean. There were piles and balls of dust next to bedside tables and under bed area. Was not cleaned well at all. There was a large group of people from Liverpool for a wedding who reserved all the sun beds each morning. The rest of the guests made complaints but this was not managed by the hotel. The people would reserve chairs at 6am and then not appear until 11am leaving all other guests with no pool side area. Very unhappy about this as it went on for the entire 10 day stay. Two pools, one gets absolutely no sun and the other on level four is descriptively small compared to images online.

Breakfast was good with different choices. Nice pools. Some friendly staff especially Madee in the travel agents. Restaurant staff especially at breakfast could have been friendlier, more attentive, respectful and not so colour ‘blind’. Women in particular made more of an effort with Caucasian guests, somewhat rude and indifferent towards people of colour. Rooms very dark.. no ventilation, a bit damp and musty. Bedding and towels not changed even when you put out the appropriate paperwork. Overall pleasant but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to friends. We stayed at Kuta paradiso last year and it was only the noisy location that kept us from visiting again.
