The welcome was very warm & friendly, lovely restored building, rooms comfortable but don’t expect 5* luxury as it is an old building with authentic furniture. Nice pool area. Staff very helpful. Rooms very clean. Small village outside of faro, it has a couple of bars and cafes but it is a quiet village.

One of the best holiday B&B properties l've ever stayed at, and l've been in quite a few! My sister-in-law and l were staying for the weekend in the beautiful, traditional town of Estoi! Casa da be Estoi checked all the boxes! Our suite overlooked the courtyard with its quaint swimming room.lt was clean, cosy and comfortable. Our host, Caterina, was excellent, so helpful and always willing to give advice. The ample breakfast was served in the Old Stables and freshly prepared on request! Perfectly situated to visit the Palace, Roman Ruins and, on the 2nd Sunday of every month, how fortunate we were, has one of the biggest, local, open-air markets to visit! Plenty of excellent restaurants in the vicinity for dinner too! We would most certainly stay there again! Highly recommended!

What a lovely place to stay. This was once a wealthy landowner's residence and converted 15 years ago into a charming and comfortable guesthouse. There is also the charming, informative and ever helpful Caterine who tqkes care to make suee that you enjoy your stay. Perfect

My husband and 2 girls had a lovely one nights stay at Casa De Estoi. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely Catarina and shown round the delightfully quaint property . The house has all the original family furniture etc. We stayed in the suite ,which was a wow from all 4 of us . It was so spacious , consisting of a sitting room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms . There is a small pool and secluded terrace area . This is the only area that we felt needed some slight tlc ;weeding and a lick of paint ... Breakfast is served in an undercover beautiful outside area . Breakfast was amazing. Catarina freshly bakes cakes and cooks eggs to your choice . There are homemade jams , fresh rolls, croissants, Portuguese tarts , cold meats, cheeses ,yogurts and fresh fruits . Fresh orange juice , coffee and a selection of teas are served too . Thank you so much for our enjoyable stay Catarina and for making us feel so welcome .

This is a delightful, charming and unusual historic property, sympathetically altered to provide guest accommodation and full of the original family furnishings and artifacts. This is not a soulless, dry, immaculate, bland pastiche of a conversion but a wonderful, quirky, occasionally slightly battered but always characterful reworking of a family home that delights at every turn. The breakfast buffet has a lovely range of fresh baking, fruits and breads and Catarina, the charming hostess, makes the most amazing orange cake. Her warm welcome, her gift of languages and the wonderful Portuguese sunshine make this a perfect place to stay.

Although the taxi ride from the airport got more and more remote, arrival at this gem of a small hotel was amazing. The star of the show is the wonderful and ever obliging housekeeper, Catarina. Nothing is too much trouble for her to fix. My room (the family suite) was like a home from home. Wonderful bed for a perfect nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious including Catarina’s heavenly orange cake and the sweetest fresh figs I’ve ever eaten. This is a place to totally chill out. Don’t come here looking for nightlight and bustle. Come to recharge tired minds and muscles and leave (reluctantly) suitably refreshed. My only minor complaint would be the outside space. A little paint and a tidy up would make this 5/5 also the pool is small but big enough to cool off in. I would not hesitate in recommending this and will try to go back myself one day soon.
