6/10 Good

The location is undoubtedly the best thing about Hotel Marina. It is directly opposite the beach in Port de Sóller, with lovely views across the bay and plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was very disappointing. It feels dated, tired and rough around the edges, and certainly didn't feel like a four-star hotel to us. The towels were old and frayed, there was no complimentary water in the room, and the accommodation generally felt in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was basic, and I was particularly surprised that only one coffee per person was included at breakfast. For a four-star hotel, that felt unnecessarily cheap. Service at the bar was also poor. None of these things individually would necessarily ruin a stay, but together they created an overall impression of a hotel cutting corners rather than delivering a four-star experience. It's a shame because the location is genuinely excellent and the property has enormous potential. Ultimately, though, it felt as though the location was doing most of the heavy lifting. We loved Port de Sóller, but wouldn't choose to stay at Hotel Marina again.

8/10 Very good

We had a great stay at the marina. Check in was easy and we had a lovely Mountain View studio. Room was cleaned well every day. A few parts of the bathroom were a bit tired you could see where water had leaked in the ceiling and the bath / shower was quite old . Apart from that facilities in this studio were great . Most of the staff were lovely and very helpful. One member of staff who worked in the cafe / restaurant was rude and unhelpful . Apparently he is the son of an owner it certainly came across as if he did not want to be there which is a shame as all other staff were lovely . Great breakfast and lovely to be able to eat this outside with sea views. Great location with a supermarket 1 minute away. I would definitely return .
