Great location. Clean rooms & lobby.
I will definitely come bsck to this hotel! It's a great price. Great location, and actually super friendly staff! The bed was pretty comfy. The room had a kettle with a variety of teas and coffees AND BISCUITS! A fan was supplied and hangers. The lovely little bathroom had shower gel, shampoo and soap in there for my use. The TV was spot on too. I definitely loved this place. I opted for no window, and I didn't mind because I only need coffee and a place to sleep. They also have a wall of discounts that I looked at, which meant some things I did in London I got cheaper because of it. The staff were friendly on arrival,. And when I left too. And the place smelt clean and looked clean! I was beyond impressed! My only downside was that the door has a huge gap underneath it, so when anyone walks past or opens and closes doors nearby you here.

Exceptional 10.0
Despite not being accustomed to the life of London, the customer service I recieved was truly above and beyond expected. I was given advice on public transport and how to travel to different places, something I greatly appreciated as it was one of my first experiences travelling alone as a student. To further enhance my experience, the room was clean and ready for when I checked in. In addition to that, the offer of 24 hour luggage holding was greatly appreciated as I arrived prior to the check in time and had to leave for work which would have otherwise made it exceedingly impractical to carry my luggage for the rest of the day. The location itself was beneficial especially with the sainsburys nearby making it easy to find food to eat and prepare. Overall, great stay would recommend.

Overnight stay
I was spending a couple of days in London, the first seeing a friend and the second one on business so I stayed here one night. The first point to note was that although I could not check in until I think 3pm. I was able to freshen up from my train journey and leave my case at 9am. The receptionist was extremely helpful and recommended visiting Borough Market which is only a short walk away. This was superb advice! My room was windowless but a good size with a very comfortable double bed. The en suite bathroom was large and equipped with a bath. The toilet and bath both had support rails so I don’t know if that is standard or if I had been allocated an accessible room by chance. I don’t know what the shower was like as after a long day sightseeing I enjoyed the luxury of soaking in the bath. In spite of the proximity to the centre of London, the room was quiet and I enjoyed a good night’s sleep.Although this hotel is room only there is a Sainsbury’s next door so I was able to have breakfast in my room.

Very good 8.0
The staff was so pleasant and helpful and the hotel was absolutely spotlessly clean. I've never been to any hotel that was any cleaner or that had a staff so devoted to making their guests happy and comfortable. The location was perfect for us on a very quiet street but less than 1/2 mile from a main street (Borough High Street) including the tube station. The number 21 bus stop was just a few feet down the road and a grocery store next door and a local fast food place three doors down. There is also a nice pub less than a block away. The only negatives were no lift (elevator) and no air conditioning, but they gave us a large fan and England just doesn't normally get that hot so it was really not that big a deal. Not the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, but not horrible either. Overall, we were very pleased and would stay there again without question.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel with no name. (A sign outside simply says 'hotel' and when I asked the receptionist its name, she said 'accommodation'.) From a small lobby it opens out, Tardis-like, into a much bigger hotel than you'd expect. My room, though small and with a pillar which made getting into bed an acrobatic feat, was spotless. The bed was large and comfortable, the TV had all the expected channels, there were tea and coffee-making facilities and decent biscuits. WiFi was fine. The area is devoid of restaurants - you'll have to walk to find anything halfway decent. Staff were absolutely charming - uniformed, smiling and helpful. I'd certainly stay there again.
