Mother daughter memories!
The staff was very nice and helpful. They really wanted to please. For breakfast they Had a good selection and the coffee was great. The room was clean and comfortable. They even made us a simple breakfast/ lunch one morning when we had to leave early on an excursion.(croissant, sandwich, jus box and soda crackers to go). The are close to the train and very close to the pickup spot we’re many tour leave from. The only inconvenience was are room was facing the train rails. It was a bit nosy. Ask for a room on the opting side. Alto it did not bother my daughter. We stayed 2 night’s.

Exceptional 10.0
Hotel Luxor Florence went above and beyond for us. We have never ever been given treatment like that anywhere! Upon our arrival, Constantino made us cappuccinos on the house. Elizabetta- the owner- was there and she gave us directions and information to anything we wanted to do/see. Sarrah gave us great restaurant suggestions- even though our waiter disliked Americans, the food was good! On our second day, we had a tour planned that required us to be at the meeting point by 7:30am. Since breakfast doesn’t start at the hotel until 7:30, the night shift employee Ricardo made all three of us bags of food to go! He made us two sandwiches each, with an apple and juice box in each bag. We didn’t even have to ask- they just offered to do that for us! That night, it was raining pretty hard, and after coming back from a 12 hour tour, we really didn’t feel like walking somewhere to find dinner, so Constantino suggested a place where we could get pizza delivered to the hotel. He even called the order in for us and then called our room when the delivery driver arrived with our pizza! All in all, the staff was absolutely wonderful, the hotel was super clean, and we would totally stay there again!! Thank you again Elizabetta, Constantino, Sarrah, and Ricardo!! The Marinelli Family

Good 6.0
Not recommend
1) Location is Okay. Closed to train station. 20 mn walk to Duomo. Street is not very clean; 2) room is too small 3) double window so do not worry about noise 4) the staff are good 5) air conditioner is broken during our stay. Conclusion: not recommend to spend more than 150 usd equivalent per night, with the price you can find better around the downtown of Firenze 3)

Close to Train Station & Welcoming Host!
SUMMARY: A value-for-money pied-à-terre close to Firenze station from which to explore Florence & beyond. We would definitely stay there again! DETAIL: After booking we contacted the hotel & the lovely Beta (owner) confirmed our reservation, giving us peace of mind. The hotel is central & just 5 mins’ walk from the station – very convenient for exploring Florence, trains (Pisa, Venice) & bus tours. Receptionist Dennis was attentive & checked us in late at night, .showed us to our room & gave sight-seeing tips. Have €s to pay tourist taxes (not cards)! Stairlift to 1st floor for disabled guests. We had the pleasure of Beta’s warm welcome – she’s a warm, funny host! Our keycard-entry, air-conditioned room was clean & not cramped. While overlooking the railway triple-glazing ensured that we were not disturbed at all by noise. Standard facilities & an en suite bathroom with shower (no bath). Simple IKEA-type furniture in good condition. Beds firm & extra blankets provided. The rooms were made up daily & towels changed. Facilities all worked as intended, but fridge (minibar) could have been cooler. Buffet breakfast is continental variety (not full English). Our fantastic host, Beta, makes fantastic cappuccinos & the weekend mornings fun occasions – we did miss her during the weekdays! The breakfast area is light & tables well-spaced. Our only gripe was that staff did not always clear our empty utensils from the table.

My wife and I had a great time here. Parking is never a issue which parking in the towns is a nightmare so it’s nice to not have an annoyance coming back. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were always nice and accommodating. The bartender PePe has been there a while and might seem too serious from afar but is the nicest and coolest guy we meet there. His English is a little broken but he won’t let that get in the way to make conversation and do his best. We took the boat trip from the hotel to Capri, the company the hotel uses will pick u up and drop off from the hotel dock, very nice. They provided free drinks even beer and wine and showed us so much that we would have definitely missed it if we drove our own boat. This hotel is located right between amalfi, Sorrento, and Pompeii so it’s nice to not be too far from everything and it’s secluded. Also if u see three cats, the clean male is named FiFi, after amalfi. He’s the coolest cat and makes sure your doing ok and will take pictures with you if you like lol.
