Luxury in East El Paso
We tried out this new Courtyard because of it's location and because it was relatively new. I've stayed in many older "refurbished" hotels (refurbished meaning new carpet & artwork on the walls) and felt like splurging a bit. What a breath of fresh air! We had a king size room on the 2nd floor and it was large and very luxurious - one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in for the price. The bed was soft with tons of pillows with varying degrees of comfort so we could pick a firm pillow or softer one. The bathroom was huge and the walk-in, glass shower was awesome - no damp shower curtain dripping water on the floor. Oh - and the towels....we actually had a couple of HUGE bath sheets that covered much more than the skimpy towels used by the competitors. The real selling point for me was the Kurig coffee maker - oh my lord, that was THE best. I don't function without my coffee so having a maker that actually provided a big cup of coffee versus those itsy bitsy mini-Mr. Coffee machines was heaven. When I used up the regular pods provided (no decaf for me!), Starbucks in the lobby was happy to provide my next fix. Speaking of the lobby...it was large with many areas to sit or hang out, and every table and couch had multiple charging ports for electronics so one could charge a laptop and phone without taking up two tables. We didn't use the pool facilities but the outdoor fire pit was a great area to relax with a beer and enjoy the evening. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

Looks good, sleeps bad
A very convenient location and on the surface, appears to be a very nice quality hotel. However, our rooms were right next to the elevators and we weren’t sure if they would be much noise or not. The construction of this hotel must be substandard because we heard it running Children above us all night long, people in the hallways talking, and noise from the adjacent rooms as if we are at a very basic motel. Didn’t sleep well and I’m very disappointed based on this.

quickly becoming a bad hotel
We stay at this hotel at least twice a month. It is getting dirtier and dirtier each stay. Shower had mold and hair in it. Also the air conditioner barely worked. Was extremely hot in the room at night. This was our least comfortable stay so far. Then they put $150.00 of pending charges on my bank account over the amount I agreed to pay. Granted it is pending, but this is the first time it was so high. Usually they pend just $30 more. When I called and asked about it, the guy treated me like I was stupid and had never stayed there before, even after telling him how often I stay there. I will probably look into a different hotel in two weeks when I go back to El Paso.

Good for travelers
The hotel was great! Not one complaint (other than not having a heated pool, but that's pretty picky). My complaint comes in with Expedia. I had put a family room for 5 persons. Ages are requested by the website when selecting kids option. The room I selected said "sleeper sofa available". Our room did not have a sleeper sofa. That left us with 5 people sleeping in two queen size beds. The hotel said it was the booking site (Expedia's) issue. We made due for one night, but Expedia needs to make sure this issue is resolved. Expedia's booking for 5 people was also an issue for the "free breakfast" when the room is paid for in advance. The hotel would only honor 4 free breakfasts. Again, we dealt with it, but I would definitely be leery to book for 5 people through Expedia again.

Great experience and location
This is one of the nicer rooms we have had in the last year. Up to date, clean, spacious room, comfortable beds, and a spacious and clean bathroom. They also provide a white noise machine to help drown out the noise from the interstate, for us light sleepers. Bianca was very accommodating and provided us a quiet room on the 4th floor. It is right off of the interstate, which makes it easy to access and easy to get back on the I-10 when leaving the next day. When you purchase the breakfast with the room, you get to order your meal at their "bistro", freshly made, with Starbucks coffee! They are located at the east end of El Paso, not in the middle of the city, which was also a plus for us. The only con is that the mini fridge doesn't have a freezer section, if needing to freeze ice packs for your ice chest. We would definitely stay here again!
