Comfortable room and great shower

Wonderful clean comfortable will stay again. Breakfast was good coffee little strong for my taste

AC/Heat was broken. Shower missing hardware exposing PVC pipes. Shower wouldn’t fully switch to shower mode meaning water was coming half out of bath faucet and half out of shower head = bad water pressure. Room appeared very clean. Receptionists were nice, but we caught morning front clerk without mask multiple times. If staff want a break from mask-wearing: go into the back room or outside, don’t chill in the main lobby... Continental breakfast was delicious and served by staff wearing masks. Overall felt like owners are cutting corners with maintenance repairs because the front desk clerk asked if we were the same people who said their heat didn’t work the night before (which we weren’t) meaning at least 2 rooms didn’t have working heat; it snowed that morning so it was very cold. Doors are heavy and slam really loudly. We checked out early and evidently had multiple complaints that we were slamming doors. We had to wear earbuds to fall asleep because children (or dog?) were running in the room above us and some lady was talking loudly in the hall. Walls were thin and doors are loud. We slept well with earbuds though. I’ve stayed in multiple hotels in Wichita Falls and honestly they’ve all been disappointing. I spent a little more on this place since it had the highest reviews in the area, but was a disappointment for our New Year’s Eve stay. I’ll try Childress, Amarillo, or Fort Worth next time we make the cross country commute.

We were very pleased with the accommodations.

Everything was good except for the lady telling everybody when your in the lobby to have your mask on which is fine I understand the rules. Then when I come back down from my room she is changing out coffee without her mask on. Did not make a lot of sense why she was making everybody else wear their mask then he wouldn’t wear hers while making coffee.

We enjoyed our stay. Very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Very clean and comfortable.

The room was great - the service was great - the breakfast, not so great. The food was cold, and it was not easy to see what the options were.

This hotel was at the very nicest end of affordable hotels. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only downside is, it is right here next to a highway where I heard cars in the night.
