Great hotel but disappointed.
This is a really lovely hotel and pub. The staff and service was excellent, my room was comfy and nicely decorated. But all of this was ruined by their glass recycling contractor who decided to come and empty their glass bins at 03:45 on Monday morning. Totally ruined a good nights sleep. I raised this with the lady at checkout on Monday and she was horrified but advised that they have asked this contractor not to do this many times in the past. You need to deal with this as its unacceptable.

Fabulous hotel in the heart of the town, we arrived earlier than the stated check in time but our rooms were ready so we were able to check in straight away. We visited as two couples in our early to mid 40’s,both of us had the bigger rooms that came with a double/king & a smaller single bed, room size was great, the bathroom was of a good size too. Tea & coffee making facilities along with biscuits too were a nice touch. Everything we needed was in the room from an hairdryer to extra blankets! We didn’t eat in the restaurant but the food did look amazing, we shall remember to eat there when we next visit! Overall a very pleasant stay and there were plenty of bars close by to enjoy a very late evening out with friends. We’ll definitely be back, thank you 😊
