Two HUGE Thumbs Up!
Overall, I love this hotel. It is in excellent location, close to all types of restaurants and shopping centers. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is excellent – very accommodating and helpful. The only minor flaw that I encountered was that the Wi-Fi was unreliable.

serious sewer smells in the bathroom
I always wanted to stay at this hotel in my frequent trips to Bogotá but the rate was usually higher than in other comparable hotels. However at the last minute I found a deal and took advantage of it. Check-in was very efficient and the people at the front desk provided all the information I needed. Then I arrived to my room and was struck by an incredibly aggressive smell of cleaning products. It was so aggressive that it felt like a punch in the face. I thought housekeeping staff was just being obsessive about doing a good job and opened the windows to let some air in the room (no AC unit). To my surprise, the smell of cleaning products progressively became a sewer smell coming from the bathroom that they were trying to mask. I was moved to a room 3 doors away also at the 7th door, and the pattern was exactly the same: aggressive cleaning products smell that vanishes and becomes a horrible sewer smell. For me it is so obvious that they're well aware of the issue but decided to be in denial instead of looking for an expert to do a serious plumbing job. Fortunately, I had very long work days so I bear with this issue by keeping the windows open, bathroom ventilation unit turned on, and bathroom door closed at all times (including all night when sleeping). Breakfast was decent and I noticed that waiting staff was very attentive to customers -i.e. asking how food was, etc- (which is somewhat infrequent in Bogotá). I just hope they realize sewer smells are a real health hazard!

Not again!
The staff is really bad. Check in and welcoming was insulting. The manager of the reception ask me a cash deposit for the mini bar. Once refused. She took the mini bar out from my room can you believe in that?? She is very rude. Unpolite. The hotel is full of ppl that come to the clinic to do treatments or so. Its full of sick and paralysed ppl all over the entrance. I felt in a hospital sometimes. Also the waitress at the restaurant didnt serve me well i ask for panceck and she ignored me. I really think this hotel need to change lots of his staff until sells rooms for tourists. I wont recommend this hotel to anyone i know. In this area theres lots of other options. Go for them!
