Could not offer a room....
This stay was terrible. One hour before check-in we got a mail that the room was damaged by people who had checked out and they had no room for us. We were transferred to another hotel with one bed-rrom instead of two. The offered discount was minimal but we could not find any other free hotel so we had to accept. Taxi was offered but we had to spend time waiting since they only could offer their own taxi.... What to say? Anything can happen, but how you handle it says it all. Staff at new place was great, so no shadow over them. But, to care this little about customer says it all. Don't book this place

Fair
The property itself was clean and in a great position. The assistance from the concierge staff however should have been much better, considering the cost of the apartments per night and in comparison with comparable accommodation. When we arrived amenities in the accommodation (saucepans, plates etc were missing and when I brought this to the attention of the concierge desk I found them to be reluctant to provide replacements. The night before leaving I asked advice on booking a metred taxi and approximate costs. The following day, when we were leaving the apartment I was told that a taxi had been booked and the cost. I stated that I had specifically asked for a metred taxi. I was told that the concierge desk could not ring for a metred taxi as they only dealt with one company and that if I wanted a metred taxi I would have to flag it down myself. When the taxi arrived it was a mini cab. I was overcharged for the short trip and the driver left us on a busy road next to an underpass with steep steps with all our luggage rather than taking us to the taxi drop off area. it begs the question - who benefited from the overcharged price. I suggest that staff on the concierge desk be provided professional development on customer service. It seems to me that the people at the concierge area are more interested in ingratiating themselves with the local businesses rather than providing helpful assistance to their residents/clients.

Very good
Central location. Spacious apartment.
The location was very central. The apartment was spacious and had everything you could need. The kitchenette was well equipped. The water pressure in the shower was poor. The bed was hard which was good for me but not my partner. The apartment was clean but had a few scuffs on the wall. Overall very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful view from Penthouse
Where to begin. For starters we found the front desk staff to be less than friendly. For example we had to wait for one of the staff to get off her personal phone to ask where to take our trash and we were told simply "round back". Another instance would be, my son left his key behind so we ask to leave it at the front desk and the staff just grumpily took the key from us and told us that would be fine. She didnt ask for his name or anything. Next would be the internet. It's horrible! If you need to work while staying here then I recommend staying at another location. Even after we paid to upgrade our internet, service was spotting at best. We asked what was going on and we were told that they were working on it. I lost almost a weeks worth of work. I should have known reading other complains regarding internet. Next would be our washing machine broke and maintenance was a joke. We stayed for 7 days and he came on a Wednesday looked at it and said he would return. He never returned. After several calls to the front desk, we finally got him out and he said the fan was jammed and that he got it fixed "for now". Nope, it made it to the dry cycle before it quit working again and we wound up hanging laundry around the flat. Another day and a half go by waiting for him to return and complaining to the from desk when they finally gave us a key to another room to do out laundry. At this point we were out of clothes. No fun wearing dirty clothes around london!

Exceptional
A GREAT LOCATION AND CHOICE FOR FAMILIES
We haven't been to London as a family. We wanted kitchen, laundry facilities and privacy, which a hotel cannot offer. The front desk staff is nice but that not great over the phone. However, once you get there, they are all nice and helpful. I read some negative reviews but didn't experience during our week stay. The penthouse apartment was very nice and clean. We had 2 bathrooms, nice bedrooms and an amazing living room with a view. If I went back, I would buy or bring some paper cups and plates. 2 sets of cups and plates meant we kept running the dishwasher which is okay because it's small. The washer/ dryer combo was a bit difficult to figure out but once we did it was very handy. They say fully stocked kitchen but it didn't come with any sponges, paper towels, which we had to go buy. Only 2 TP rolls per bath. Not enough for a family of 4 for a week. Had to buy it. Best thing is there is a grocery store right next door! So, easy to get groceries and head up to your room. They do provide a blow dryer. Not sure if this was the best part of town, but it was super bad or anything. And we didn't have problems and there was security at the front door. Overall, I would stay there again.
