Conveniently situated for Blenheim Palace
The stay didn't start quite as well as expected. The promised email from Hotels.com with the check in details didn't arrive and the one they sent saying this has all the information you need was untrue as this didn't have it either. Fortunately when I phoned the number supplied the issue was quickly resolved. I had unexpectedly received a room upgrade due to a cancellation which was appreciated. The room was comfortable with a good sized ensuite. There was a good selection for breakfast with a choice of cooked offerings at different prices. All however were excellent value.

Great room, great breakfast and great location. All together really pleased. However! There was sign in the bathroom about the drains being sensitive and avoid disposal of unwanted items in the toilet. There was no notice about the horrible smell and the obvious attempt to use cleaning g fluids to mask it. That also resulted in a very sticky bathroom floor. Such a shame.
