Perfect in every way!
Lovely room right in the heart of town. Gorgeous location, lovely spacious rooms.

Very nice place to stay in Kennebunkport
Room and restaurant were excellent, quite enjoyable. Shower pressure was weak, but everything else was great.

I have stayed there several times and this time it was so different—sadly it was very disappointing! Unfortunately, the first night of our stay there was an engagement party so there was no access to the restaurant and we had to hear loud music until 11 pm! We chose to forego the housekeeping for our two night stay and got a $30 credit to an affiliated restaurant. However, when we went to have dinner at the Burleigh, they had unexpectedly closed even though the website said they would be open. When we checked out we asked for the $30 to be credited to our account—and they said that they couldn’t do that! In the past we would get a nice departure bag with water and cookies—this time we got nothing. And what also surprised me was the lack of cleanliness—-for two nights we had to walk through white crumbs in the hallway that never were vacuumed up. When you’re paying high prices to stay there—it shouldn’t be that way. Time to take stock and go back to what worked initially for you! Great service, extreme cleanliness, and giving guests the experience that they were going to be treated and pampered to a one of a kind stay!

Nice place, great location, missing staff
The Boathouse location is ideal! It is a very nice, clean and comfortable place. We had a spacious king room with a large bathroom. It was in a separate building than one shown online, which was a surprise. However, it was very convenient (30 yard walk) to the main building. Although the harbor view is more of the parking lots. Breakfast in the morning, isn't really breakfast. It is some small muffins and a bundt cake, oj, coffee and tea. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable when you can find them. They did forget to put out the snacks in our building one of the two nights we stayed.

Terrific location in the middle of Kennebunkport
The location could not have been better. We absolutely loved the restaurant and enjoyed the food, drinks and terrific views several times during our stay. For the price, I expected something a bit more upscale in terms of our room. We were set up in a side building that was not part of the newer main hotel, so this was probably the difference. My BIG complaint was that one morning after walking the town, my wife came back to the room and found our room door partially open, with no maid in sight. The room had been poorly made up, so someone had been inside. We had to spend time going through all of our possessions to verify that nothing was stolen. The room did not come equipped with a safe. This was totally unacceptable. I sent an email to the hotel to complain, but never received an answer. My wife told the maid the next day and one day later a manager came to the room to talk to my wife. The hotel did comp us one night for this issue, which was appropriate and appreciated.

Pricey and expected more.
Expected better rooms and comfortness. Did not like the adjacent building where our room was located. Stair case too narrow for our luggage. Couldn’t get it in nor received help.

Very nice. I would have liked breakfast to open before 730 as I could not partake since my conference started earlier.

Not what I thought it was.
By looking at the picture of hotel you would think there was a view but we were put in the wharf side building which is old and not ADA compliant without an elevator and narrow steep stairway with view of parking lot. The room was updated but did not have a fridge, small TV, and the bed was very uncomfortable. We had a family of 5 above us and as normal with 3 small children they were up at 6am running and jumping around. With the oldness of the building it sounded like they were in our room. We did have a wonderful meal at the restaurant. On checkout I let the staff know of all my issues and they said that they would take care of us next time we came to town. There was also a 20 dollar resort charge for what I don’t know. Would never stay here again but would eat there again.
