Fab place,LOVE IT + would move in but bad service
Sadly the service at the front desk let this down. Such a shame as I would probably book to stay here every week if it wasn't for this (I stay in hotels in London 5x a week). I just got quite rude vibes from the front desk and for £400 a night you expect better. I have to say, the staff who brought room service were fab and so kind, it was just the front desk who wasn't the best and I was left feeling pretty gutted. I did also get nasty comments on my social media profile because I didn't tag this hotel (the commenter seemed as if they knew it very well), not sure if this is anything to do with the hotel (assume not!) but was quite worrying if it is.

Superb from start to finish
Absolutely outstanding- the staff were excellent and the hotel was awesome. Every little detail was thought out so well. We would very much like to return soon!

Not my first time
Have stayed here before and it's lovely. if I could figure out how to work the air con it would be even better, old fashioned solution was to open the window! I'll be back.

Cost spot-super convenient
Very lovely upgrade when I needed to stay an extra night. Though the upgraded room was loud on the street and in the building until after 1 am. I stay here a lot and find that the staff turns over - a lot. They recently upgraded a few things. Place is lovely, feels more like a lovely house and not a cookie cutter hotel.

Beautiful hotel with okay service
Absolutely beautiful, small hotel. Brimming with creativity and personality. Couldn't be happier, aesthetically. The service, however, left more to be desired. If I ever had a question I'd call the main desk and no one answered. When I went down to the desk, many times the people working didn't know how to answer it. Even things as simple as "where is the closest tube station?" or "where should I walk around here?" were met with "I don't know"s. The service in the restaurant was even worse. I had to ask to order, ask where my food was, and physically get up to leave to say "okay, I hope the bill is on my room..." as no one waited on me (and there were very few other customers). The worst was I got home from the theatre, starving, and asked if there was anything to eat and they said no. I said, "But the information book in the room says 'pop on down to eat anytime?' I specifically came home bc I assumed that meant we could order a small bite anytime?" Apparently, "anytime" is just a saying... I asked when they stop serving food and he said, "maybe 10?" Jesus.
