Good 6.0
Overall fairly good
The staff were friendly when we first arrived. When we checked in we were disappointed with the room as it smelt strongly of damp, this could have been due to the fact it was a disabled access room and there was no barrier to stop the water from the wet room from going onto the carpet. We then asked to changed rooms as the smell was so strong. The receptionist explained that there was only one room out of the hotel that was left and we were welcome to have that. We had a quick look at it first then moved our bags. We were happy that we had been moved rooms so we weren’t in a damp room however our new room did not have a window which would have been nice. The bed and pillows were comfy. Since coming back to our hotel after the first day I had trouble finding my pyjamas and one of my bras due to the fact they had been thrown onto the floor in the corner of the room behind the clothing rail after leaving them on my pillow when we left for the day. We also picked up on the fact that after complaining about the room that the staff became less friendly throughout our stay. Aside from this the hotel is in a good location, is close to a number of attractions and is close to a number of tube stations so travelling is not an issue, there are also many nice places to eat in the area.

Poor 2.0
Noisiest hotel in London
We had 4 rooms in this hotel for 2 nights and one room for 1 night. On BOTH nights the noise from just outside the hotel kept everyone awake until the early hours of the morning. Literally a guy with a drum banging it right outside until 3am. On the last morning the worst 'street performers' making what could only be described as fools of themselves 'beat boxing' to the theme tune to Mission Impossible at 8am when we had all been kept up by a guy with the drum until 3am. If you want to get ANY sleep, do not choose this hotel. I reported the noise issue to them several times. There solution was to go outside and give the guy with the drum £20 to clear off. He told a few friends and we ended up with a guy with a traffic cone 'singing' at the top of his voice as he was hoping to get £20 to clear off too. The hotel manager told me they had been having these issues at least twice a week since the hotel opened 9 months ago. Seriously, don't stay here unless you plan to be so drunk that noise won't both you.

Very good 8.0
Great hotel if you don’t have a lot of luggage!
The hotel is very convenient to walk everywhere in central London. It’s clean, very comfortable, amazingly quiet for where it is and the staff is friendly and helpful. There’s food downstairs and they give you treats and tea in your room included. Only 2 downsides: 1) the room was about a foot larger than my bed with no drawers and no wardrobe and no room for me to really put my luggage, let alone live out of it. I had 3 large suitcases as I had been traveling through Europe and that was kind of a mess in this hotel. But, to be fair, the picture showed this (they are very accurate), so that’s on me. 2) is that it is IN LEICESTER SQUARE. That’s awesome, but it also means that no car can pick you up or drop you off there. You get put off about a block away. That’s not necessarily bad unless you have a lot of luggage though! Overall a great place to stay for people with minimum luggage and ready to be in the thick of things!

Fair 4.0
First of all, I need to say the general attitude of the staff was great. It’s the under staffing or under budgeting of having staff on which caused the majority of issues. Unrelated to staffing, but starting the journey. Our room was on the first floor on the corner facing the square. The noisiest room I’ve ever stayed in. Buskers playing so loud we could feel the vibration of the base in bed. Then came Friday afternoon at about 4pm, went downstairs to get a glass of wine before getting ready to have a group of our friends come meet us at the hotel bar for my birthday. No bartender...reception lady said she could pour wine but only take cash (could not be charged to the room because no bartender.) Fine, whatever.. asked reception lady if the bar would definitely be open in a few hours as we had friends coming, was assured it would be. Came down stairs, and other reception man advised that no, she had left to help their sister hotel and wasn’t here.. it was basically impossible finding anywhere in central London on a Friday night without a prior booking. Moving on again, Sunday afternoon... may as well use the two for one drink card they gave us on check in. Again no bartender and no staff able to make drinks, why give drink cards if not able to be used? I also forgot to mention Saturday night, where I found urine in the elevator and had to let the reception girl know. Nice staff, extremely bad stay.

Exceptional 10.0
Excellent stay
The room was very nice and the size was good for central London, but it was decorated in a way that there was no logical spot to put your suitcase without tripping over it. The decor of the room was very nice, and the cleaning everyday was perfect. The bed though was on the smaller side. Water from the mini fridge was included in the price for the room, which was very nice to come back to cold water after a long day of sightseeing. The location was perfect. You're right in the middle of central London and most attractions are within walking distance. The door to the hotel are extremly well hidden unless you know what to look for, fortunately they have staff keep an eye out for lost looking tourist which was how we found it.
