Ample free parking. Hotel is a traditional style Manor House so has creaky stairs winding corridors, rooms are spacious and simply decorated and furnished. Housekeeping efficient and timely. Bathroom basic but acceptable however shower needs tweaking to get a constant hot water flow. Buffet breakfast was varied, cereals, pastries yogurt and fruits and traditional (but not extensive) full cooked English All restocked on request. Convenient for M25. Stayed two nights while visiting friends, would use again.

We were disappointed in our double room which was very cramped and not really large enough for two people. There is no air conditioning for use in hot weather. There is no lift and although this was not a pronlem for us it would be a problem for someone with mobility problems if they had a room upstairs like us. The breakfast was supposed to be available u til 09.30 AM. When we arrived at 09.00 AM the buffet was not kept stocked and we had to ask for crockery and items such as milk etc that had run out and had to be topped up. We have stayed at this hotel previously in a different part and the room was much superior to the one we had this time. Overall the stay was not as good as previously.

Plenty of parking, check in was swift and well organised. Staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast was ok, lots of people and staff struggled to keep up with demand. All in all, a good experience.
