Great for Convention center or 30-ish couple
Main reason for choosing this hotel was proximity to the Convention Center. Original plan was for my husband to attend a conference & I explore Boston. Had a medical emergency & had to reschedule – thankfully hotels.com was able to work with us & move the reservation to a later date. Hotel is ~10 minute walk to the harbor & a quick Uber to historical sites/Boston Common/restaurants. There is a public outdoor lawn across the street – live music a few evenings, but wasn’t so loud that we could hear it in the hotel. Breakfast was included each morning. Coffee/juice/milk/espresso machine, cereal, yogurt bar, toast/bagels, oatmeal packets/hot water, frittatas, made-to-order station (scrambles & french toast). Complementary “manager’s reception” in the lobby M-Th 5:30-7pm with wine/beer (2 drinks/eve) and cheese. Each 21+ guest gets an email upon check-in with instructions on how to redeem with the self-service machine. A hotel worker had to help us at first, but once you figure it out it’s pretty cool! The lobby had music playing and there’s also an outdoor patio area to sit. This was an added bonus for us! Room was nice – king bed was comfortable, shower had good water pressure, kitchen sink had filtered water, plenty of cable TV channels, wi-fi was easy to connect to & worked well. A/C was not super consistent – when the air was blowing it was nice & cold, but when it wasn’t it got a little warm. Overall we were plenty comfortable, just something to note.

Not using this hotel or Hotels.com again
I paid the hotel charges via credit card before Ed checked in. The hotel charged Ed on his credit card putting his account negative. I'm trying to get help via Hotels.com but your customer service sucks. I've called & emailed (includes snap shot of charges) and now have to call again. We should not be getting hit twice for room charges. Tina
