Really lovely hotel in the centre of Galle. Modern large rooms. Tasty breakfast. No TV in the room. We arrived late and hotel provided us with complimentary sandwiches and fruit. Nice touch. Good facilities. Really friendly attentive staff.

The Fort Printers left an impression
Coming towards the end of our Sri Lankan odyssey, we stayed for two nights at the historic Fort Printers. The room was spacious, cool and clean and the courtyard was wonderful. Breakfasts were excellent and filling, whilst dinner was unforgettable ( for all the right reasons!!) I would highly recommend.

Great one night stay. Fabulous hotel ideally situated in Galle Fort. Excellent service, great food. Lovely small pool for a cooling dip at the end of the day. Nothing too much trouble. Complimentary soft and hot drinks a lovely touch. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay one to remember

Lovely boutique hotel in historic building
This is an excellent boutique hotel in an historic building right in the centre of the Fort. We were upgraded to the Headmaster's Study (the building was a school in the past) which was unique, extremely spacious, and comfortable.The breakfast (included) was outstandingly good. Thank you to the Manager, Peter, for a wonderful (albeit short) stay.

Historic, beautiful, an oasis of calm. Staff fantastic. Cooling pool. Elegant rooms and public areas. Loved the complimentary soft drinks as well as teas and espresso coffee - such a pleasant surprise on an upmarket hotel!

Hotel full of character and style!
Utterly charming converted printers in the heart of the old Dutch colonial town of Galle. Very sympathetically restored and converted in the style of a Moroccan Riad almost. We stayed in the Church Suites directly behind but adjoining the main property. Dinner was excellent, very tasty and fresh and service attentive. Atmospheric and nice to be based in town as opposed to in one of the many resort style hotels outside on the coast. Lots of interesting and trendy shops in town, the likes of which we hadn't come across at all in our previous 10-day tour of Sri Lanka and also many restaurants, cafes, and ice cream parlours. A great city to spend a day wandering around.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel which has been thoughtfully converted from a printers to a hotel. It has retained its original features. The staff are attentive but not intrusive and clearly enjoy their role. The food is fabulous. It as a delightful swimming pool, very welcome after exploring the area.
