We spent one night en route back to Halifax from a stay in Ingonish. The property is wonderful - huge room, beautifully redone, clean, excellent amenities. Check in was weird. The building is NOT where you check in. Expedia said nothing about this and the phone number on the building didn't work. They also listed a website, but it was down. Finally we talked to a local lady and she told us the property is owned by Dolan's, who has other inns and a motel in town. We drove to the motel, and they checked us in. Met the owner later, who also runs Fat Tony's pub. Very nice guy. We ended up having a nice time - just be aware of the check-in issue.
