Lower Bell
When the booking was made there was no indication on the website, that the pub didnt serve food apart from a basic pizza, or that the main road noise was constant throughout the night. It was really disappointing, but at least the room was comfortable.

Easy to find and comfortable.
A very convenient place to stay near Maidstone. Easy to find. My later arrival was easily accommodated and the stay was quiet and comfortable. A comfortable bed and a good shower highlighted my stay. Car parking is close and plentiful. Basic stay with NO breakfast but a food menu is available for the evening meal.

Staff were helpful & friendly. Rooms were at the back of the pub in a converted out building. Small, nicely decorated, bed comfortable but they must have a damp problem. The rooms really smell damp. Which is a shame as they were reasonably priced.

Comfortable bed, friendly staff, lovely pub. Some background traffic noise as near to a major road. Liquid soap and shower gel provided but why no small bar of soap for washing your hands.
