Good basic accommodation
Reasonably priced, good basic accommodation for a working man. Good location, had an upgrade this time ( i haved stayed here before). Car parking ticket is a bonus, but get there in good time.

Great staff, run down place
Very friendly staff and chech-in. Room was freezing cold and heating not working. Knackered room. The price a Premier Inn with not even 10% of the comfort. If the rooms are fixed up then it would be ideal as the place is well located.

We stayed in the 'annexe' which is basically just a house converted into very small rooms. Not really fit for purpose. You can hear everything from adjoining rooms and the noise from the main road traffic is horrendous and goes on all night so don't expect to get much sleep. Would never stay there again.

Ideal for short stays
This was a one night stay for us on a Saturday evening in Norwich. The location is perfect and we went for the en-suite room to avoid any sharing of bathrooms. The room had what we needed and was ideal. Fairly clean and with a view out the front onto the river it was a nice little spot.

The room was basic which was fine, but the toilet didn’t flush. It was fixed temporarily but broke again. Staff seemed embarrassed on check out, but clear it wouldn’t be a priority to fix it.

Good points - location good, parking permit issued and plenty of parking. We were allocated a room in one of the annexes, just down the road from the main hotel, the room was very dark and drab. It needed a complete revamp. The carpet had lots of stains and hard areas where things had been spilt, bathroom was dirty, the "shower" is a pipe conected to the bath taps. There were cigarette end left in an ash tray at the front door leading into the room. It was very noisy could hear everything said and done in the room above.

Not great
It was ok...the staff was nice but the bed was not comfortable and the building is quite old because we could hear the upstairs guests walking and talking...we could hear anyone that walked pass our door...and the people on the street talking seemed like they were inside the room with us...and the breakfast could be a little longer than from 8am to 9:30am... the room was clean and tidy so they had that going on... which is nice
