YES, DO IT
Lymington is lovely with a good choice of eateries and things to see and do in the local area. Wisteria House has a faded charm. The rooms are large, beds very low and rooms and bathrooms generally rather tired. Location is perfect with free parking and WiFi. Hosts David and Jo made the trip for us being very welcoming. Jo's breakfast was wonderful with good quality ingredients, cooked to order and served on hot plates - other hotels please note. Overall - recommended for a short break.

THIS IS NOT 4 STAR BEWARE!
In summary: The people were very nice. The location is very good. However reality is that this is 2 star accomodation, touching the bottom end of 3 at best. You are staying in some rooms above the local conservative club. Something very wrong that websites inc Hotels.com which I'm a big fan of allow this to be advertised as 4 star. As another reviewer has said - you gave been warned!

A memorable overnight stop. At first we thought we had the wrong place as its in the local conservative club building. A lot of work is being currently done to bring the property up to scratch, but the bedrooms/bathrooms were clean modern and comfortable. In the morning we had a Fawlty Towers experience. The cook couldn't get in because he didn't have a key and I saved the day by letting him in. The wait for breakfast was well worth it! Would happily stay there again.

Great location, friendly staff
Friend and I stayed for 2 nights, reading previous reviews were helpful in finding the entrance to the car park and how to get into the b+b. Other reviewers may have had different expectations of a b+b but we found, albeit a bit expensive for a b+b, it was very clean, well equipped and with really friendly staff. It is an old building so it's bound to be a bit creaky but that's what adds to the character. Would stay again as the central location is ideal for all services, shops, restaurants and pubs. Yes the music was a bit loud but it's a weekend......
