Amazing hotel! The views are incredible. You can get the amazing sunset view right from the patio (or from the hot tub) in front of the room, without fighting the crowds. With only 4 rooms, all having their own hot tub, this place felt super private and yet you're right off the main path to the Old Port. The beds were super comfortable, the mini fridge has 2 large complimentary bottles of water and 2 orange sodas daily. There is a coffee/tea station to start you off before they serve you your complimentary breakfast on your patio. The shower is large and the water gets plenty hot. This place was amazing! The hotel restaurant at the top of the stairs is fantastic! Try the cheese Saganaki! Guests get 20% off, and if you ask they will bring your meal down to your balcony. Waiter Renato was fantastic! He really catered to us. The hotel is right above where the donkeys rest after taking tourists up and down the main path. There are a lot of stairs in Santorini. Call or have your transportation call the hotel to let them know you're on your way and they will have someone help with your luggage. Trust me, you want the help. Especially when you leave. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when in Santorini.

Just like the pictures. With these views you don’t need to fight the crowds at Oia to see the susets . The only drawback is the flies

This is a BEAUTIFUL boutique hotel, situated in the heart of Thira. The views alone are worth the trip. The surrounding area and proximity to everything in Thira only enhances the stay. Restaurant onsite is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and give you a true sense of the Aegean. Only drawback, it's at the bottom of the caldera. Be prepared for some stairs to get back to the primary streets of Thira. Also, if you have heavy luggage, let the team know in advance and they will assist with carrying.

Our stay at Fanari was brilliant! The location was perfect and whilst we were in the centre of Fira it was extremely private. We ate at the attached restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed the food and service. Brekky was served on our private balcony overlooking the magical view. Simply amazing! Our room was absolutely spotless! The bus station was a short walk away and allowed for cheap, easy access to all parts of the island. We visited Akrotiri, Red beach,Oia and loved them all. The walk from Thira to Oia along the caldera is a must do as the views are fantastic! There are drink and food stops along the way. You'll need reasonable footwear as the track is a little rough in spots. The location of Fanari was great to watch the sunsets and access the local laneways and small shops. We loved our stay in Santorini. Thank you to the friendly staff at Fanari!
