Our short trip was as expected. Dining was great due to variety of choices. Hotel was great. Shopping was a little unsettled due to all day rain on 6/4/2018. We had a great time and will return to this hotel again.

Definitely badly named as a resort
We had a room that was not anything better than best western. I have paid far less money for a much nicer room in the micro hotels. The breakfast was splendid the indoor pool was actually the reason I I brought the kids with me. I figured they could Swim while I worked...was our 4 year old turned blue after 10 min. And had to go take a warm bath. I thought from the advertisement that we would be able to walk to the beach but apparently that was just my interpretation of what it said.

Everything was very nice. The accommodations are very adequate. I regret I forgot my bathing suit. The massage by Mannie was exceptional!!! I received some mis information from the front desk and one receptionist was not the cherriest to work with but the rest of the staff was very nice and accommodating. I would recommend the Meadowmere to my friends and family and plan on returning.

Nice but a lot to work on.
Overall a good stay but they miss the mark on a few things. 1st off, food. The only option was the vending machines. The restaurant was closed for the season and the lounge had nothing. 2nd was water. Want a drink of water? Vending machine is right over there. No complimentary bottle. Sinks too shallow to real sized cup. 3rd issue was continental breakfast. None. Summertime yes, winter no, and with no restaurant open it was inconvenient. 4th and final issue is directed to the spa. Massage is supposed to be a serine relaxing experience. Most places have you "meditate" before hand and offer tons of water (I know back to water). Not here. The gym surrounds the massage rooms, and though the masseurs were quite good, the atmosphere sucked. No robes, convenient showers or serenity. Clanking weights, tiny room and dress as soon as you're done. Still covered in oils? Bummer, have a nice day.
